A New Chapter

This new model follows the 2023 release of the Classic Tourbillon Manufacture, which introduced a redesigned case and styling, initially in 18-carat pink gold. While subsequent models have been released in limited numbers with unique materials like meteorite and aventurine, this new steel version is notable for its accessible price point, similar to the 2023 steel model with a silvered blue dial. Frederique Constant continues its commitment to offering affordable Swiss-made luxury with high-quality finishes. Each timepiece will be individually numbered on both the tourbillon and the case, maintaining the tradition of the Classic Tourbillon Manufacture.

A Deep Palm Green Dial

The watch's defining feature is its deep palm green dial with a radiant sunburst finish. This departure from the more traditional white, grey, or black dials commonly seen on tourbillon watches provides a contemporary touch. Hand-polished central hands glide over faceted hour markers, while the seconds are indicated by a slim hand placed directly on the tourbillon's upper bridge, offering an unobstructed view of its intricate workings.

A Silicon Anchor & Escapement Wheel

The movement's finishing adheres to Geneva watchmaking traditions, including bevelling, beading, circular graining, straight-grained flanks, and mirror polishing. However, Frederique Constant incorporates modern technology with the use of silicon for the tourbillon's anchor and escapement wheel. This material, used by the brand since 2008, offers superior resistance to magnetic fields and temperature fluctuations, enhancing the watch's performance and reliability.

39mm Case & FC-980 Manufacture Calibre

The 39mm case, previously used in the Classic Manufacture collection, is paired with a topstitched alligator deployment strap that complements the green dial. The classic case design is further accentuated by a traditional onion crown, reminiscent of pocket watches, and a transparent caseback that allows the FC-980 calibre to be admired.
