Bronze, Reimagined
Following the successful launch of the Terra Nova collection in 904L steel in 2024, Bremont introduces three new references crafted from a high-strength cupro-aluminum bronze alloy. While bronze is often associated with the nautical world, Bremont demonstrates its versatility in the Terra Nova's terrestrial domain. This specific cupro-aluminum alloy was chosen for its exceptional strength, durability, and ability to be cast and shaped into the intricate design of the Terra Nova's two-piece case. Furthermore, it boasts a higher tensile strength than other bronze alloys, making it even more resilient to daily wear and tear.
Beyond its strength, cupro-aluminum offers several other advantages. Its composition makes it hypoallergenic and more scratch-resistant than traditional bronze, helping to maintain its pristine appearance. It's also slightly lighter than steel and other bronze alloys, adding to comfort on the wrist. Aesthetically, the alloy possesses a unique soft golden tone with a warm reddish hue. Unlike conventional bronze, it develops a gradual and even patina over time, avoiding the uneven green or black discoloration, resulting in a subtle, controlled transformation that adds character and individuality to each watch.
Three Distinct Bronze Explorers
The new Terra Nova Bronze models offer a choice of dark green or caramel gradient dials. The 40.5mm Date Bronze and 42.5mm Chronograph Bronze feature a striking dark green linear gradient, while the 40.5mm Turning Bezel Power Reserve Bronze boasts a warm caramel gradient reminiscent of desert landscapes. Subtle design updates include a smaller Wayfinder logo and smaller Super-LumiNova® numerals on the chronograph and power reserve models for improved balance and readability.
Terra Nova 40.5mm Date Bronze: Ready for Anything
The Terra Nova 40.5mm Date Bronze offers three strap options: a black and green NATO, a khaki green nubuck with cream stitching, and a full-bronze articulated bracelet.
