Bucherer Exclusive 2025: A Trio of Haute Horlogerie Masterpieces

Chopard, Girard-Perregaux, and Ulysse Nardin Take Center Stage

NEW RELEASE | 450 words | 4 MIN READ

Bucherer, the renowned watch retailer with a legacy dating back to 1888 and now under Rolex ownership, continues its tradition of offering exclusive limited-edition timepieces. Following last year's amber-toned departure with H. Moser & Cie., Bucherer Exclusive returns in 2025 with three exceptional watches from Chopard, Girard-Perregaux, and Ulysse Nardin. This year's collection isn't defined by a unifying color palette, but rather by the shared pursuit of horological excellence and masterful craftsmanship.

Chopard L.U.C Strike One: A Delicate Balance of Power and Elegance

The Bucherer Exclusive Chopard L.U.C Strike One is a study in refined elegance. Its 40mm case, crafted from ethical Lucent Steel—a Chopard-exclusive alloy—measures a slender 9.86mm thick. This marks a rare appearance of Lucent Steel on the L.U.C Strike One, further distinguishing this limited edition. The vertically brushed caseband contrasts beautifully with the polished bezel and caseback. The large 7.8mm crown, featuring an integrated pusher and the L.U.C logo, adds a touch of regal sophistication.

The dial, made from ethical 18k white gold, is treated with a light blue PVD coating and showcases a hand-guilloché honeycomb medallion at its center. The surrounding chapter ring, with its snailed concentric circles and applied rhodium-plated indices in a herringbone pattern, exudes classic elegance. A diamond baguette at 8 o’clock adds a touch of sparkle. A cut-out between 12 and 1 o’clock reveals the striking hammer, part of the watch’s patented monobloc sapphire crystal and gong system. Dauphine fusée-style hands indicate the time, while a subdial at 6 o’clock displays running seconds. An aperture beneath the double index at 12 o’clock shows the chime/silence mode.

Powering this exquisite timepiece is the COSC-certified L.U.C 96.32-L self-winding caliber, based on an emblematic movement and equipped with a gold micro-rotor. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, it offers a 65-hour power reserve. The impeccably decorated movement, bearing the prestigious Poinçon de Genève hallmark, underscores Chopard's commitment to haute horlogerie. The Bucherer Exclusive L.U.C Strike One is paired with a grey alligator leather strap and includes an additional grey calf leather strap. Limited to just 8 pieces, it is priced at EUR 72,800.

Girard-Perregaux Laureato Tourbillon: A Timeless Classic Reborn

Bucherer has chosen a discontinued yet iconic Girard-Perregaux model for its 2025 Exclusive series: the Laureato Tourbillon in titanium. Originally released in 2018, this timepiece returns with a fresh aesthetic while retaining its elegance and meticulous craftsmanship. The Bucherer Exclusive Laureato Tourbillon features an anthracite grey dial with the signature Clous de Paris pattern.

The 43mm titanium case (11.36mm thick) features the signature octagonal bezel and integrated bracelet, finished with a combination of polished and satin-brushed surfaces. The monochromatic dial, with sword-shaped hands and luminous baton indices, perfectly complements the titanium case. The Girard-Perregaux logo sits at 12 o’clock, while the tourbillon aperture, framed by the brand’s signature arrow-shaped bridge, dominates the lower half of the dial.

The 100-meter water-resistant case houses the in-house GP9510 self-winding caliber, powered by a micro-rotor. This movement, operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour, offers a 47-hour power reserve. Limited to just 8 pieces, the Bucherer Exclusive Girard-Perregaux Laureato Tourbillon is priced at EUR 123,000.

Ulysse Nardin Freak X Enamel: A Vibrant Display of Horological Innovation

The third timepiece in the Bucherer Exclusive 2025 collection is a bold and vibrant creation from Ulysse Nardin: the 43mm titanium Freak X Enamel. This striking timepiece features a vivid green mainplate, adorned with a wave-like guilloché pattern and coated in multiple layers of enamel. This design is reminiscent of last year's Freak X Enamel in blue, but this edition swaps blue for a vibrant green.

At the heart of the Freak X Enamel is Ulysse Nardin’s UN 230 movement with its signature flying carousel, featuring a silicon escapement and a large silicon balance wheel. The central bridge acts as the minute hand, while a marker on the decorated mainplate indicates the hour. Luminous markers ensure readability in all conditions.

Limited to 18 pieces, the Bucherer Exclusive Ulysse Nardin Freak X Enamel is priced at EUR 41,100. It is paired with a black calfskin strap with green accents and a titanium folding buckle.
